TOURVIS, a leading online travel platform, announced its successful launch of Korea’s first New Distribution

Capability (NDC) integration with Finnair, the national airline of Finlan.d This milestone introduces a more

convenient and cost-effective booking experience for travelers booking Finnair flights via TOURVIS.

Exclusive Benefits through Direct NDC Connection

As of June 24, 2025, TOURVIS has become the first travel platform in Korea to directly connect with Finnair using the IATA-certified NDC standard. NDC is a next-generation airline distribution protocol established by the

International Air Transport Association (IATA) to streamline and enhance the connection between airlines and

travel platforms.

This direct integration enables TOURVIS users to access a full suite of Finnair services in real time, including fare

search, seat selection, in-flight meal reservations, and complimentary onboard Wi-Fi. The EUR 15 (approx. KRW

20,000) surcharge previously applied under the legacy EDIFACT system is now waived, and customers can enjoy Finnair NDC-exclusive fares—including domestic flight deals within Finland and ultra-affordable “Light” and

“Superlight” fares across Europe.

The Highest Number of Airline Integrations Among Domestic OTAs

Since 2018, TOURVIS has been at the forefront of airline distribution innovation by successively obtaining IATA’s NDC Capable Level 3 certification and NDC Aggregator Level 4 certification. In 2019, TOURVIS became the first in Korea to launch directly connected NDC content, further cementing its reputation for technology-driven travel

services.

As of 1H 2025, TOURVIS has completed direct NDC connection with a total of 13 airlines, including Lufthansa,

Singapore Airlines, Emirates, and American Airlines, achieving the highest number of integrations among

domestic OTAs. Notably, in July 2024, TOURVIS became the first in Asia to directly connect with Air France-KLM,

once again proving its technical leadership and collaborative capability with global airlines.

Strengthening Partnership and Customer-Centric Strategy

Dong-hwan Kim, Country Manager of Finnair Korea, stated, “Finnair considers NDC a core strategy for

modernizing airline distribution and is continuously expanding it. We are pleased to have implemented NDC with a trusted partner like TOURVIS.”

TOURVIS CTO Seung-il Hong said, “The direct connection with Finnair is the result of our efforts to provide more benefits and options to customers,” and added, “We will continue to enhance the travel experience through

technological innovation.”
